Website terms
Flowspot is a trading name of David Howlett, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@flowspot.io.
By using this website you accept these terms.
Any estimates produced by our site are an indication of price, based on the plan mix and user numbers you enter. They are not a quote or an offer. Prices, plan availability and Microsoft's own pricing can change, and the final price is confirmed in writing before anything is charged. If you go on to become a customer, the service itself is governed by our Services Agreement rather than by anything on this site.
We take care to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the information here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
The content, branding and design of this site belong to us. Third party names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and appear here only to describe the products we resell.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Privacy
This section covers personal data collected through this website. The data controller is David Howlett, trading as Flowspot, and you can reach us at hello@flowspot.io about anything here.
What we collect. If you use the estimator or the contact form, we collect the name, email address, domain names, plan numbers and any message you enter. If you reached us through one of our adverts or campaign links, we also record which one, the page you first arrived on, and the advert click reference Google adds to its links. We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this site, and we do not collect special category data.
Why, and on what basis. We use it to reply to your enquiry, to send you the estimate you asked for, and to arrange a call. We use the advert and campaign details to see which of our advertising brings enquiries, and we may tell Google which advert click led to an enquiry, without your name or contact details. The lawful basis is legitimate interests, specifically responding to someone who has approached us about our services and understanding which of our advertising works. Where you are an existing customer, it is performance of a contract.
Who else sees it. Your submission reaches us by email, so it is held by our email provider. Our website security provider processes a check when you submit a form, to prevent automated abuse, and our booking provider handles scheduling if you arrange a call. Some of these providers operate outside the UK, and where that is the case we rely on the transfer safeguards approved for UK data. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it. Enquiries that do not become customers are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Customer records are kept for the length of the contract and for six years afterwards, which is the period we need them for tax and legal purposes.
Your rights. You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our using it, or ask us to restrict how we use it. Email hello@flowspot.io and we will respond within one month. If you are not happy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
